The Imitation Game

KC and I went to the theatre to watch this flick before booking tickets in advance. This is it's 3rd week, how could we not get tickets? As it happens due to Delhi elections, malls were closed till evening and entire Delhi junta is in Gurgaon. We could find neither parking nor tickets and headed back home. 
I had downloaded this movie a week back and watched it at home.

Before I start, let me say that am biased. I could not take my eyes off Benedict for even one second and calling this movie brilliant is an understatement. 

August Osage County

I have watched the play which stars Lillete Dubey, Ira Dubey, Sandhya Mridul, Kitu Gidwani, Suchitra Pillai and Meeta Vashisht in 2011 at Epicentre, Gurgaon. The play is written by Tracy Letts and so is the script. I decided to watch the movie... specially since it stars Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts. One thing about me... I will happily watch a play, movie and read a book of the same. It may get boring for others but I like to see how each of them turn out.

The Fifth Estate

This movie has been on my 'watch' list for quite sometime. I finally took out the time today. The movie is about Julian Assange and his website wikileaks which leaks news. There was a time when I kept reading about Julian in the newspapers but did not know too much. The movie is not based on unauthorised books written on him. He is not shown in a good light in the movie. Why are most American movies so critical of people??? Even Social Network showed Mark in a completely negative light. Everyone has their faults... they must have some positive qualities to have created something so great.
