I carried 2 movies for my Kolkata trip - Luck By Chance and Namesake. Both I have watched earlier. Both are my all time favourites
And then I realized Air India has Luck By Chance and watched it there instead.
I don't remember the first time I watched this flick but have seen it soooo many times since. It is Zoya Akhtar's best movie and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Yep... better than ZDNM. And it is the most accurate and realistic portrayal of Bollywood. Is Bollywood as fickle as we hear it is? Yes... it is... mostly.

I just watched this flick. It was either this or Zanjeer and I hate remakes. They are unnecessary.
What is the movie about? It is about today's confused young people... how they fall in and fall out of love... and where marriage fits in (if at all) in the scheme of things.

I was looking forward to this movie.... after all, it stars Irrfan Khan and the reviews have rated it highly. KC and I went for the late night show- 11 pm.
The movie starts off well. The story is about 4 RAW agents who come to Pakistan to capture Dawood and bring him to India alive. They get the opportunity when he ventures out from his mansion to attend his son's wedding. Everything is planned well... except it goes wrong. Do the 4 manage to bring him to India?

I watched this flick today... after KC's review that its good.
What pulled me in -

In the first 20 mins of the movie all the characters are introduced. I was happy with the fast pace since it works well in crime thrillers. The story is about 2 families- one of cops and another of criminals. Arjun Kapoor is in a double role... 1 is in cop family and another in criminals' family. 1 is exchanged with another to bring the criminals' downfall. Unfortunately, everyone is involved in criminal activities.
The 1st half is fast paced and very good. The 2nd half goes into typical 'Bollywood' territory... too many emotions... too many people killing each other...
