Dolly Ki Doli

After the fiasco that was Khoobsurat I had decided that never to watch a Sonam Kapoor movie in the theatre again. She is so damn fake... even more fake than Aishwarya.
I was happy to find a decent copy online. How cool is it that copies online are available on the same day as the release!!! Money and time saved.

Khoobsurat

All the reviews on all websites were positive for this flick on Friday morning. Even my trusted Raja Sen's review on rediff.com was largely positive. Must say, Kapoor and family have very strong PR. And then I read/saw Anupama Chopra's review on film companion (youtube) and she had given it 2.5 stars though the review was largely positive.

I had no intention of spending money on this... but then KC wanted to watch it. On Saturday, I had eaten dinner by 7 pm (like am supposed to), was watching 'The Office' and getting ready for bed when KC expressed the desire to watch it. Well... so we went. I don't let him watch action movies in the theatre... he should atleast get his fix of chick flicks. :P

Watched 15 mins of the movie and then switched it off. Who celebrates getting a gold or a platinum credit card?

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

The reviews of this movie made me reluctant to watch it. The fact that it exceeds 3 hours was also a bummer. But I went ahead anyway since KC likes movies related to sports.
The movie is about Milkha Singh who won a gold medal at the Olympics. It is his rags to riches story and based on the autobiography written by him. The promos have been going on since the last 6 months and this flick has been a much awaited one.

Raanjhana

I watched this flick today. It has been a much awaited movie since it has a new and different pairing. Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor. I did not think very highly of Dhanush... his only claim to fame is 'Kolaveri Di' which is a bad song anyway.
